McDivot’s Indoor Sports Pub came about after two previous college buddies reconnected after figuring out, they lived up the street from one another. An idea existed after a chat with gym buddies. A rough plan was made and we reached out for others opinions, given they knew several other successful establishments in the Des Moines area. After scheduling a “walk and talk” on one of their morning stroll almost 4 years ago, the idea took off and the rest is history!

Our owners have been a bartenders, managers and owners at some of the most popular establishments in Iowa and Minnesota for the last 20 years. They have always dreamed of owning a group of their own places and set out to do just that after seeing all the growth in the Grimes, Granger, Johnston, Polk City and Urbandale areas. 

We are excited to be part of the Grimes, Johnston and Urbandale communities. We can’t wait to see you in McDivot’s soon!
